Saturday Feb 1st is the cook off and ALL teams are welcome to participate
Sunday Feb 2nd is the big Feast. Gates will open at 11:00 am. Serving will begin at 11:30 am
The silent auction will be until 1:30 PM on Sunday and the Live auction will start at 1:45 pm
Fire & Ice Feast is an annual fundraiser for four local Taylor County Volunteer Fire Departments. All proceeds from the event go to help the Buffalo Gap, Jim Ned, Lawn and Moro Volunteer Fire Departments. The Fire & Ice Feast has raised over $750,000 to benefit these four Fire Departments! The Fire & Ice Feast is a full weekend of festivities. Saturday’s Cook Off features local teams of Big Country vying for the best Brisket, Ribs, Chicken, Beans, Chili, or Jackpot Bloody Mary’s in Taylor County! Come watch the cooks compete and stay for our Car Show. Come back Sunday for the Fire & Ice Feast and participate in our Auction or buy a ticket for our gun raffle.
The Four Taylor County Volunteer Fire Departments of Buffalo Gap, Jim Ned, Lawn and Moro are made up of volunteers that serve as the first line of defense in case of an emergency. These volunteers put their lives on hold to protect and serve when a fire breaks out in our local communities. These Volunteer Fire Departments rely on financial support from sponsorships, donations, and events to continue to operate to protect our homes and businesses. Attending Fire & Ice Feast is a simple and fun way to support your local volunteer firefighters!
